Happy Heart Day …
My first attempt at making a 2-4-6-8 box for Valentine’s Day ! Filled with candy hearts, kisses or a small gift what person wouldn’t be impressed to receive this thank you for being a friend, a favorite teacher, or even a thanks to your kids for cleaning their room. Either way they are easy to make and will be even more fun to fill with treats. Next a valentines card for just about anyone. Scalloped circles with a tag saying Happy Valentines Day and small butterflies with tales of i love you expressing the days sentiment for that special someone !!
Its here …. look see
It’s finally here ~ our revised and fancy schmancy Stampin’ Up consultant websites. We have full design rights to the look and feel of it. Color choices and even the words in some of the areas. My links are located on the left side and will take you to some of the more pertinent information there. I’ve also placed a link on my JOIN page so for those of you thinking or maybe considering signing on to Stampin’ Up will consider signing up under me. I would love to have you on my team !! So no matter where you are in Alaska to Maine I will be honored to add you to my team.
Our website also helps us maintain our calendar of events ~ creative projects ~ and a place to journal away our thoughts. You can access some of Stampin’ Ups creative projects, the exclusive products, host a workshop, view my calendar ~ or contact me via my website. So take a look around and then come back and post a comment to what you think. What you’d like to maybe see there or to just check back and see what other projects I’ve uploaded.
I have completed a couple more and now just need to take the best picture so that I can upload them and let you see my handy work. I’ve made a birthday card, valentine card and 2-4-6-8 box for valentine goodies. I’m also working on making some coaster calendars, gift bags and a few scrapbooking pages. I need to get moving on things again so that I’m ready for my big open house gathering with workshop classes for all that attend.
Oh and thanks to my dear friend, Cheryl, who helped me change the font size on my blog so you all weren’t thinking … omg my eyes are failing me …. seems the font was set to extra extra small so in order to see it you had to squint or increase the size and even then it was difficult. So thanks again Cheryl. See I told you I was new to this whole blog world ~ so I’m learning as I go along. Also a big thanks to my many visitors from all over the globe who stop in and visit ~ please take a moment now and make a comment so I’ll have your feedback. Well better get scootin’ and get these pics taken ~ big sigh inserted here ~ an artists work is never done (haha) !!

Embrace Life

I’ve been all over the web looking at other blogs and they all have artwork posted …. but nope not Christine. So I hopped on the bandwagon and a crafting I have done. I’m sure there is something I’m missing in posting these but in time I’ll get it right ~ I want you to know this wasn’t an easy task ~ taking picture, resizing to the right format, sharpen image, and then to post … omg I’m ready for a nap and yet I still have more pictures to take and more to post ~ long as you have patience for me I’ll keep trying til I get it right. Well back to the drawing table (hehe) hi-ho-the-merry girl who’s got stamping on her mind ….

A New Year’s resolution is something that goes in one year and out the other
It is at this time we sit and look back over the last years events ~ to smile and laugh over the good times ~ be thankful for the freedom that our countries men and women fight for every day. We shall cry and be sad over the times we were less fortunate or for the passing of friends or family. And yet we wonder what the next 365 days will bring us.
I myself am thankful for many things in life ~ for the grace of each year that I live to see my children grow and their achievements along the way. My son Brian will welcome another child into the world in July, and for me another grandchild. I am so proud of who and what he has become in life and hope that he sees this as well. My daughter Marisa continues to amaze me with her determination and goals for her future. I am as proud of her as I could be knowing she grows from within every day.
May each of you be blessed with love, understanding and faith ~ good health and fortune ~ and the ability to overcome lifes obstacles.
